Title to Property & Adverse Possession

Law on Title To Property & Adverse Possession –  As is evident from the same itself adverse possession is an attack on the right title interest of the genuine owner. The principle of adverse possession has been developed on the theory that an owner is expected to keep under him his property if he does not exercise his right as the owner for the period prescribed by the law, and on the other hand if somebody else exercises possession like an owner of course, in the condition enumerated by the law he is expected to claim himself to have acquired rights against the true owner.
