Refund and Returns Policy

  • Books once sold will not be taken back
  • Only in case of ‘Manufacturing Fault’, a replacement request can be raised.
  • The ‘Defective’ book has to be sent back to us by the Buyer at his/her own cost.
  • Before sending back the ‘Defective’ books, the Buyer is requested to mail us the following details:
    • Buyer’s name.
    • Order number
    • Date of purchase
    • Name of the Book
    • Payment mode
    • Reason for returning the book (along with Photograph of the defect mentioned)

Note –

  • No returns will be accepted without prior approval from Allied Book Company.
  • The ‘Defective’ book to be returned, should not be damaged/torn
  • The ‘Defective’ book should reach our warehouse within 7 days from the date of purchase.
  • Thorough inspection will be done after we receive the said ‘Defective’ book and the same will be checked with the mail sent by the buyer.
  • The replacement will be made for the same edition only.
  • In case of non-availability of the replacement, refund will be initiated (deducting the delivery charges)

Cancellation Policy

  • You can cancel your order by dropping an email or by call any time before the order is dispatched.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within10 days (After Deducting ‘Stocking Fee’ i.e. 10% of the Cart Value of the Book Returned)

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
